Books
Here are some books that I've read or plan to read in some capacity. I read non-linearly, so "some capacity" can mean that I read a book cover to cover or that I only read a handful of chapters.
I flagged a few books that I thought were particularly great.
- The Courage to be Disliked
- Bhagavad Gita
- Autobiography of a Yogi
- Deng Xiaoping and the Transformation of China
- I particularly a quote from Deng along the lines of "I have never in my life attended University, but I have always considered life to be my University." This resonates with me because it's a mindset I try to embody, and also because I never graduated from high school or college."
- I've been trying to "finish" this book for 6 years...

- Made in America
- Dune
- A Tale of Two Cities
- Who Do You Want Your Customers to Become
- Creation
- Skin in the Game

- The Score Takes Care of Itself
- Thinking In Systems
- Systems thinking is probably one of the most underutilized frameworks that can measurably improve everyone's lives, and even society.

- Oglivy on Advertising
- Debt
- Sapiens
- The Book of Secrets

- This book is useful even though I think it requires all parties in a conflict to read it to be helpful.
- Obviously Awesome
- Range
- Loonshots
- Alchemy of Finance
- Four Steps to the Epiphany
- This book changed how I thought about marketing/launching a new product.
